hilarious
the only thing this list shows is that the people who've made it have a very limited taste of music...
i mean death magnetic come on...
you also could call it (with those albums) the most UGLY album covers of 2008...
apart from the new frusci ofcourse
i am not one of these people who think "it should be the nr.1" only because it's john's.
but honestly: this cover REALLY was the best one this year. maybe one of the most beautiful covers of all time. along with king crimson's "in the court of the crimson king" or "Led Zeppelin I"... period.
amour fou, don't be a jerk. You don't like Death Magnetic and you dare to say that "people who’ve made it have a very limited taste of music…". Don't make me laugh... Damn I hate fanboys.
A pretty good list ecxept for Coldplay. They used Liberty Leading the People, that's cheating.
well 'powaz' in my opinion the cover of death magnetic is just plain ugly
for (far) more exciting cover art, just take a look at the southern lord or tzadik catologue...
oh and i am too old to be called a boy
I agree with you amour fou: Death Magnetic is very ugly. Just look it and you will see
Quick correction, its La mécanique du coeur, not La ménace, and according to what I found the album was released in 2007, which is a little confusing if its supposed to be of 2008 (along with The Empyrean not physically being released until 2009).
