    This is an update on the post about revealing of Johnny Ramone’s statue, an article from Rolling Stone where John is mentioned.   • Revealing of Johnny Ramone statue

    According to Los Angeles Times and many picture sites plus some other reliable sources, the statue of the punk rock legend Johnny Ramone was unveiled on 14th January in Hollywood at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.   • Billie Joe Armstrong is a John fan

    (Thanks to funkymonkeygirl from OHG forums) In the February issue of Guitar Player, Billie Joe Armstrong, Green Day singer/guitarist, talks about style, influence, direction, etc. Do you rely on any specific influences? I go for the classics-anything from the Beatles to Social Distortion. Specifically regarding guitarists, I love Steve Jones and Johnny Ramone, and I also love John Frusciante.

    Yup, Happy New Year 2005, if there’s anything to wish after such a disastrous ending to 2004. Anyway..     Two more reviews added, one of them thanks to Grete Three more wallpapers by me and one by Dee Dee added. And, by the way, Dee Dee is very talented and she suggested me to add some more of her wallpapers, so you will see them soon, most likely after the New Year.     Here is a bunch of lists made by Rolling Stone’s critics who were choosing their top ten albums of the year. One of them, named Rob O’Connor put John on his list…twice! … 4.
