John on Vagenda’s “I Wanta Go”
John plays guitar on "I Wanta Go", a track for his wife Nicole Turley's side project, VAGENDA. He also masted it. The track is out 31st March on Neurotic Yell Records and it also features Arianna "Lady" Basco - one of Swahili Blonde's live vocalists - on vocals, Nicole Turley on backing vocals and Brad Caulkins on saxophone, while BIGDOXX is rapping.

The Wu-Tang Clan mastermind, who's the friend of maestro and who already had him as a guest artist on both the collective's and the solo album, as well as a N.A.S.A. and Catherine Ringer songs, plus one movie soundtrack; hints John is recording something out of this world...and he quotes lyrics from "Enough Of Me", too!

Invisible Movement version 7…is alive!
New version of the site is finally online, after a considerable amount of downtime. It features pencil drawing by two talented fans, better user experience, easier navigation and a lot more. Some sections have been re-organised, some things are easier to access and the gallery is working again, too.

Truth and John in studio, working on his new album!
During the last week of 2011, Share Watson (aka Truth Hurts) has been posting updates on her work in studio with John Frusciante, over on her Facebook and Twitter streams, accompanied by a photo of the two and a video where he's producing her vocals. Apparently, it's for his new album and she's contributing vocals to two songs!

Red Hot Chili Peppers to be inducted in Rock and Roll hall of Fame!
After having been nominated for the second time – the first time for induction in 2010, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are to be inducted into Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. The results have been announced earlier today and the other inductees are Guns N’ Roses Beastie Boys, the Small Faces/Faces, Donovan and Laura Nyro. Rolling Stone have released their list of 100 greatest guitarists. Unlike the one done in 2003, where only David Fricke got to choose his favourite axemen, this poll featured a whole assembly of musicians and other people from the business picking their favourites. John came in 72nd. God Bless Ozzy Osbourne has been released
The documentary produced by Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack and directed by Mike Fleiss and Mike Piscitelli (who directed John’s The Past Recedes music video, took promotional photos from 2004 and is in the charge of the label) is out on DVD now, after a couple of screenings at various festivals. The film tells a story of the controversial music legend through the eyes of his youngest son and features testimonimals from a lot of people, including John, as previously reported. Psycho Ballet Tropical Pink CD and LE vinyl available for pre-order
Swahili Blonde’s Psycho Ballet Tropical Pink has its release date pushed once again, to the 15th of November 2011. However, the good news is that you can now pre-order the mp3s, the CD and one of the 1000 copies of the coloured vinyl LP.
