he give 20 dollars to each kid i guess he dont want the interviewers to notice or he did dont want the kids saying HE GIVE THEM 20 DOLLARS.
That was my guess, too…but apparently, people disagree.

I don't think it was quite as noble as not wanting the interviewer to see he gave a 20, the kid was annoying to begin with, and was probably there to be on camera.. I know they are just trying to make money but those kids can be real sleazy sometimes.. Whether or not John likes kids isn't up to us to decide, but I know he is Clara's godfather, and he dedicated an album to her.. now I am just ranting.
Ummm, no, I don't think so. He tells them that because he gave them much more money than they expected and he doesn't want the interviewers to notice that, as he probably isn't into advertising himself that way. I thought he was chasing the kid away at first too, then someone pointed out the thing Conor said and it perfectly made sense.
well, I'm not talking bad about him, it just caught my eye (or rather my ear, whatever) that he wanted them to get away. I think that's funny. If you listen closely you can hear him say "get out of here" even before he gives them the money..so…. don't think bad of me, I just think it's hilarious….

this clip always gives me the feeling that John doesn't like kids…or he just doesn't want to be bothered with something like candybars when he talks about his creativity…Noticed his nasty look at 03:03? xD And he keeps on telling them get out of here xD Like 5 or 6 times xD
I love how he says, "thank you very much, get out of here".
