Isn't this exciting? ^_^ The Empyrean is out today in the most of world's countries (Germany, Austria and New Zealand being known exceptions at the moment) and therefore, yet another round of updates is dedicated to it. I decided to do it in a bit different manner and actually, this decision came to me five minutes ago. Throughout the day, according to mostly my timezone (GMT+1/CEST); I shall be posting random little "surprises" directly related to The Empyrean. These little surprises are partly my work/finds and partly work and finds of the wonderful 2800+ people over there at YourForumIsGluedToASiteOnFire.net

First and foremost, if you still did not get the album, are suspicious about getting it after having read some (odd) reviews; you might want to preview the whole thing before buying it. Dutch site 3voor12 is offering an audio stream where you can hear the whole album apart from the bonus tracks. So, what are you waiting for? Go hear it, experience it with all your senses and then get it because in a case of an album as complex as this one, mp3s won't do the justice.

Second...many site visitors have asked for a FAQ on The Empyrean. The search logs on the site also show what kind of things people find confusing or simply cannot find a response to them, so, there you go, a FAQ. The most common questions have been answered there, I searched through the available information and some wonderful people on the forum were also helpful on this matter, so many thanks to them.

Tune in later for more surprises!

4 Reactions to The Empyrean day @ Invisible Movement – part 1

Concerning the one question about "Ah Yom" in the FAQ, the words "Ahm Yum" could be some kind of wordplay. Since "yum" (or yummy) means something's good, delicious etc., he could mean that "Ah Yom" (today) is a "yummy" (good) thing. Those were my thoughts when hearing it.

    • jill says:

I can't seem to recall the source now, but the day I first listened to Ah Yom (on Youtube with the lyrics printed in the sidebar) I also read something about meditation that represented "Om" spelled both as "aum" and "yaum" among other spellings. I know that John's been interested in yoga and meditation, so I've been assuming that the words were phrases learned from or related to that interest.
