A two-page article in February issue of Teraz Rock (PL)
There’s an article on John, two pages long, in the February 2009 issue of Polish magazine Teraz Rock with a pic from the Chorzow show in 2007; so if you live in Poland and think this is worth buying the magazine, go and grab it. The article is mostly related to The Empyrean, the album’s personnel, the concept behind it, with a little retrospective on John’s back catalogue; as well as the difference between working with Rick Rubin on one and Ryan Hewitt & Adam Samuels on the other side. At its very end, there’s news on what the rest of the Chilis are doing at the moment – Flea’s take at studying, Anthony’s TV series and Chad’s other band – and on how there aren’t any fixed plans on what they’ll be doing together next and when.
