The first single off The Mars Volta's new album, Octahedron; a song called Cotopaxi, was played last night on BBC1's Zane Lowe. If you click here; you can listen to the song at about 30 minutes of the show. It's played during the Hottest Record segment.
According to the TMV afficionados, John IS playing on this song. It was not confirmed, though. It's still a speculation.

Not sure, if I'll ever love this track, but I'm beginning to like it after 3 listens.
