Here's the direct info that Saint Acid, the founder of Bangface himself posted on the RaverTalk.co.uk forums...with two photos of SDM he sent to us when I politely asked him to - for all of those who sat at home and though that John and Aaron weren't there. Also, for those who generally want to see newer photos for whatever their reasons may be. Click on each to enlarge.

And here is why the performance on Sunday was cancelled, as it was already said here.

None of the analogue synths would sync properly.
The kit was insane, we had it set up for a few days for them to rehearse and it just all went wrong. We had drivers bringing every 101, 303, 606, 707, 808, 909 in from every hire company in London and it just wouldn't work with what they were trying to do. We even pulled loads of synths apart and re-soldered them through the night with an expert whose job it is to build synths! I'm not overly technical so I spoke to Ceephax and Vibert to get them to explain things, basically what they want to do is well hardcore when using 80s synths with current computer stuff.
A few tears, a few hugs, some cups of tea/coffee and we decided to move on and try again asap. As we all know John came as a raver in 2008 and wants to have the SDM show in the BF environment. He also said that he'd spent 6 months on this set and he sees each old synth as a separate instrument with a soul. He was also totally gutted to miss most of the rave! We just have to all wait for this one.

So, all of you, watch this space; as soon as more is known on the possible reschedule, it will be posted here ASAP - as St. Acid is incredibly nice and he promised updates on this; you guys who missed this one will get to go that one; those who can go again will go again, I'll stay here to post news whenever it takes place and everyone will be happy! ^_^

Well I looked around and I found that BangFest is going to be on the 29th-30th of august... I'd like to go so much, but I know I won't be able..

  Think like this: at least you have cheap flights and you don't need a visa to enter UK! That should probably make things easier.

Does anyone know is there any tickets left to Bank Fest? At their official site I cant enter tickets store but also there's nothing mentioned about sold-out. Thank you.

        I'm not one to judge at all but I found it strange that in one of the pics John looks like he has a wine bottle. Who knows? It could have been anybody. Aaron seems to be a beer drinker and cig smoker but that has nothing to do with John. I just found it interesting. Joh is a big boy and makes his own decisions.

I absolutely loathe the way people try to analyze every single little thing about a drug addict in recovery. Its not just John...we are all treated that way.

...Seriously..lets stop over analyzing. John is a sovereign body, let him make the decisions regarding what he wants to put into himself without all the chatter.
