Foregrow EP to be released on April 16th, through Acid Test, for RSD
Do you remember when a track named Foregrow found its way on the The Man With The Iron Fists soundtrack? Well, a song named Foregrow is going to be the first track of John’s new EP of the same name, which is to be released on April 16th, this year’s Record Store Day, through Acid Test – the same label that released Trickfinger LP a little less than a year ago.

The press release, posted to Resident Advisor, who also advise us to revisit the interview from May 2015 says:
Last year saw Acid Test team up with the former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist for Trickfinger, an album of IDM-informed abstractions RA’s Patric Fallon said “finds fresh excitement in acid’s natural proclivity for twitchy, evasive movements.” The new release, out on Record Store Day, sees Frusciante “using elements of John Carpenter’s eternal scores, the drum programming DNA of jungle and footwork, and yes, a Roland TB-303,” according to the label.
Expect the purchase links to be available shortly and, until then, let’s enjoy this great news!
