It's Saturday! And you know what it means, time for another question. As I said last week, everyone's welcome to suggest a question to ask Invisible Movement's visitors, by sending me a message as well as a DM or @reply to site's Twitter as well.
This week, it's diving back into abstract again, though it's simple.
What is/are your favourite colour/colours and why? What do you associate with them and what do they remind you of?

Colors=Music
Blue !!
It takes me to the ocean and to its deep peace.
It is my favourite colour to wear,
Love to all !!
I love the color red, always have. I think it's a romantic color and there's something vibrant and urgent about it. Maybe because it's the color of roses and blood? My favorite color to wear, also other warm and bright colors like orange and fuschia-pink. (and I like to wear white and black. I could dress like I'm in the white stripes and be happy...j/k)
Green is cool to look at when it's plants and nature, and I like things in the house to be green. It's very calming, and a good color to live around.
Mine is purple. Not only I find it a beautiful color, aesthetically, but it also has a meaning.
Purple represents feelings for me. You get purple by mixing blue and red, which are the sadness and the passion respectively. Both are needed, because passion leads to joy, happiness, love, sex...; and sadness (or just a melancholic state) sets a time to analyze things and be conscious of your surroundings. Passion and sadness, joy and calm, love and indifference, hot and cold. That's purple.
I've always loved purple too. I read somewhere that it's the colour of spirituality. I love burgundy, gold, crimson and orange too. In fact, all the "sunset" colours fill me with a sense of warmth, happiness and contentment.
It's my favourite time of day and my favourite range of colours : )
And on a side note, the Tequila Sunrise is also an awesome tasty drink.
Blue
Orange is my favorite color just because its a bright color but its not as bright as yellow. Yellow is too bright. But Orange is also the color of oranges (duh), my favorite fruit.
I love Purple though, its very vibrant throughout music. Purple and blues and blacks and anything that makes it seem like you're underwater or in space are pretty cool.
i like all the the colours. each colour means something else to me that is related to the nature. white are the clouds, blue are the sky , brown is the earth, green are the plants and trees, yellow is the sun, and so on. colour is also related to music like john always say that, and i think music is a demostration of colours. it's a way of showing colours through sound.
And who cares what John says? YOU have been asked about colours.
I wish I was gifted like baro to express myself! Purple is definitely my color. It's warm and inviting to me. I seem to be all the things baro listed so that's probably why I love that color so much.
red, obviously?! REDhcp
My favourite colour has always been green and that has absolutely nothing to do with what my mom and dad think, what my friends think or GOD FUCKING FORBID what famous people may think. Green is just the most calming colour, I like living next to a green tree, I like wearing green and there isn't that much to explain, really.
And I seriously have a problem with how many of you are reasoning. If you're creating any art, stop right now, it'll probably be pure plagiarism. Stop, think about what's cool about YOU, not about someone else. Seriously.
Baro, you rule. If more people were like you, world would be much better.
whether you want it or not, when you are creating any kind of art, you'll always be consciously or unconsciously, imitating someone's work that you saw, ear, touch or smell. because that's the way our brains work, by gathering all types of information that you already been experienced for. so we are not totally expressing ourselfs in the whole process of creating, we just distort or modify something that we already experienced in some way.
oh, my favourite colour is that green on the Lucy's avatar. makes me feel happy. i want to paint my bedroom walls with that colour.

I personally like lots of different colours depending on my mood. Have always loved red since childhood, had to have red toothbrushes, red hairbrushes (still do always seek out the red toothbrush if I can) red Smarties, red sweets and now as an adult have a passion for high heeled red shoes for some reason and red dresses. Deep red nail varnish and lipstick are also great favourites. Sure there's something deeply psychological behind it but hey. Like purple, did have real black goth phase when I was younger and still do wear a lot of black but at least don't do the black hair dye anymore. Like green in the house though, it's relaxing and calming, keeps me in touch with nature. Not overly fond of blue, don't ask me why as I don't know. One thing I do know is that I couldn't live without colour in my universe.
I love the colours green and brown/beige. They are just very chill to. When you need to sit back and relax, you can do it best in a brown or green room. Also green is nature's colour, and we are loosing nature slowly. By loving green, I hope to at least keep nature somewhat close to me.
Orange has always been a favorite of mine. I have a lot of stuff in that color in my home. Makes me feel happy and full of life.
the combination of blue and orange is my favorite. to record water is one of my favorite album covers even its simplicity. something about that combination feels happy.
My favorite colours are green, and purple. On their on and they also go extremly well together. Especially i like to wear those colours. And somebody mentioned toothbrushes:D same thing with me; often try to find green or purple things.
Baro said really well about purple, i haven't thought about it that way before. It just looks good in my eyes, its not cold or hot, its both. And green, it really is calming to sit in a green room and listen some nice music. I still prefer grass and trees than painted walls. I just hope that people dont forget nature while sitting in their green chairs:D
hey!first,my opinion for colors is sky-blue/indigo.. and i'm really wondering does anyone knows how color is related with sounds..?i mean sound and colors frequency, for example, is E=yellow/C=red..?
