Enclosure came barely a year and a half after PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone and it was recorded at the same time as Black Knights’ Medieval Chamber.

Artwork

The album cover is a photograph of John painting a red circle from inside of it. This is only the third time that he appears on his own album cover, after Niandra LaDes and The Empyrean; and just like the previous time, his face is hidden. No explanation was given for this artwork.
