Curtains the second album of 2005, a critic says
According to the Buffalo News’ critic, Stephen Wilger, John’s final album in the series of six albums in six months is the second best album of the year 2006.
2. John Frusciante, “Curtains”:
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ guitarist/solo musician John Frusciante announced to fans that six solo albums would be released over six months. His last (and arguably best) of the series, “Curtains,” was recorded on an analog eight-track recorder in his living room. He uses beautiful arrangements for the acoustic guitar with an occasional electric guitar for his subtle lead lines.
