KROQ’s 2nd and final round of guitarists poll – vote for John!
The top 11 for has been revealed and, as expected, John has “qualified” for the second round, in, well, the second place; preceeded only by Mike Einziger of Incubus. The two of them and other 9 guitarists are eligible for the title of the greatest guitar player in alternative rock.

And here’s what the situation was like, in terms of votes.
In terms of votes, no one came close to clear winner Mike Einziger of Incubus, who generated over 10,100 votes. Coming in at Number Two was former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, who pulled more than 7750 votes.
As mr. Eizinger advertised the poll himself a lot and is an active user of social networks, some of us may feel that these results are not doing justice to the true picture. So, regardless of what you think that he thinks about the polls, let’s make the truth known, let’s vote John for the greatest guitar player in alternative rock! Shall we?
