This surfaced earlier today somehow, even before the official RHCP site actually announced it…it’s an interview with the band where they’re talking about Dani California…song, not the video clip. John is talking for the longest time and, I guess you all recognise the sight of The Past Recedes video. Vegas media…and some more things
This is the last update before I leave to Hungary in the morning. So, if you send me an email between 21st July and [probably] 2nd August, you’re going to get an autoresponder. I’ll respond to any mail and add new things when I’m back. Everyone needs a holiday, right? So, thanks to Jake Fraser who contributed 7 (!) of them and Ashlie who allowed me to use one video when I asked her, this website now has EIGHT video clips from Vegas. The whole show is now available as 19 files you can download from http://www.frusciantefanclub.com 😀 TO GET THE AUDIO: Go to members’ area, then “Audio/ Live shows”, then “John Frusciante live at the ATP festival, 23rd April 2005” and right-click to download the songs, because left-click will lead you to a surprise for bandwidth-thiefs. No streaming allowed, that is. TO GET THE VIDEO: Go to members’ area, then click “Videos” and scroll to the bottom of the page. Some nice news from other sites
If you’re not on the official site’s mailing list, then you probably don’t know this. Anyway…if you haven’t seen “The Past Recedes” video yet, it’s now available on myspace, at this URL. It should work if you have a fairly fast internet connection and if streaming was not disabled by your firewall. And 4th Dimension has one cool new video interview from the TROWFTD era. A promo video!
Yup, as it says above, there’s a promo video for “The Past Recedes” off the Curtains album. No joke, folks…and you should go here to get it. If you’re on broadband connection, you should be able to watch it properly. Enjoy:) I surely will.
