A Hotel in Chicago is offering a RHCP experience…sort of.
According to numerous online reports, Hotel Sax Chicago is offering their guests unique experiences, so they could feel like their favourite celebrities. One of the options for this is Rock like Red Hot Chili Peppers. The “Rock Like the Red Hot Chili Peppers” suite package includes items like the group’s signature tube socks, Heineken, a juice bar with a smoothie-tender and an acoustic guitar. They’ll also throw in VIP access to the Foundation Room at the neighboring House of Blues concert venue. For more information on this, visit special packages page on the hotel’s website (scroll to the bottom).

The Empyrean, NOT The Imperium – very important correction
and, I believe, the ring with clearest flame was that which lay least far from the pure spark because it shares most deeply that point’s truth. I can guess that this one will be a huge PITA for everyone who’s already put the news on their websites, but it’s just another proof that human ear or, in this particular case three pairs of ears, could be wrong. The two words are very much alike when pronounced, especially if one’s accent is specific or if one’s spoken words often aren’t that easy to understand. The correct spelling for the new album’s name is The Empyrean rather than The Imperium. Many thanks…

One million visitors so far…thank you!
Tonight, at 1:37 Central European Time, Invisible Movement passed the magical number of 1 000 000 visitors. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And excuse me for the further speech. I had to. I apologise if my English suddenly sounds like Engrish. As my personal idol, Courage The Cowardly Dog says, the things I do for love!. So, let this screwball Hinamatsuri-born Pisces have her say. Being smaller than Swazilend (the capital of which has a funny name – it’s called Mbabane) and almost twice as big as Cyprus; Invisible Movement is currently bigger than 68 out of 221 countries in the world. For someone who lives in a country…

Invisible Movement Question & Answer session – first ever
As a certain important milestone is waiting just around the corner and it’s a matter of a day when it’ll take place; I have decided to provide the site visitors with a little question and answer session. Please, proceed to this page to ask a question. It can be anything, as long as it is related to the website itself: how the website is run, how is this or that done, from the technical point of view, why the high loads occur when they occur, why can’t this show or that picture go on the site and so on. Basically, anything you always wanted to know about Invisible Movement, but…

4th Anual Hullabaloo – for everyone who’s interested
According to the info posted so far, I don’t think that John is taking a part in this; but given that it is for a good cause and that the official RHCP site just announced it, I thought I’d give you guys a heads-up. The Fourth Anual Hullabaloo will be held on Saturday, 27th September. You can read more about the performers at the Silverlake Conservatory’s website. The tickets cost 125 $ and you can purchase them here.

Albert Hammond Jr. has Failure33Object as his ringtone
In Pitchfork‘s feature Guest List, this week’s guest, Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes was talking about what he’s been up to lately and this was one of his responses. My Ringtone It is David Bowie’s “Sound and Vision”. The intro, yeah. It’s actually a pretty good ringtone. I have that one, or John Frusciante’s “Failure 33 Object” or something like that, which is a pretty cool piece of music. I discovered once I put the David Bowie one on, I have to keep it now. If I don’t hear that ring, I don’t know my phone’s ringing. You know, you have it one way for so long…I need to…

Raising awareness to save lives
If you have not read the previous news item – please, read it now. And do read it carefully. A source close to John confirmed that the story of Armando Ruiz was true and therefore, even the most unfaithful of all the unfaithful people who were posting incredible hateful and sceptical crap (pardon my language) all over the internet should believe it. A human life was lost, Armando is no longer among us and no speculations on John’s upcoming album could be more important than that at the moment. On the behalf of Invisible Movement and JKDN (with more to come, hopefully); Katrina and I have compiled a list of…

In loving memory of Armando Ruiz (1988-2008)
I’m asking all the viewers of Invisible Movement to read this news item, word by word. There has been a lot of speculation after I have posted this news item four days ago and some of you have gone a bit overboard with nasty, rude and even off-topic comments. The most of world’s religions are urging us to forgive and, though I’m an atheist, I’ll forgive you; hoping that you had no idea what you were talking about. The news I have posted on 22nd May was true. The anonymous person was Armando Ruiz, a 20-year-old boy from USA, diagnosed with leukemia and undergoing chemotherapy. Everything he had said was…

Bits and bites of news from everywhere
Robert Francis A tango/thrash musician Robert Francis is becoming more and more popular in the Los Angeles area and he’s giving free shows at Silverlake Lounge every monday. And why is that interesting? Here’s a quote from a couple of sources to answer that question: His upbringing is another — family friend Ry Cooder gave him his first guitar; John Frusciante gave him lessons; he remembers stealing onstage at age 8 with Harry Dean Stanton and band at the Mint; his sister Juliette Commagere fronts the L.A. band Hello Stranger. This sure makes Mr. Francis a recommendation, you can hear some of his music here. Snow ((Hey Oh)) as a…
