Rumours

  • The yet-to-be-titled album is supposedly mastered

(thanks to beejaysus for the heads up!) When asked about mastering secrets behind John’s upcoming tenth solo album, still known only under the codename Solo X on his message boards; Steve Hoffman, the music restoration mastermind said only this: Heh, that’s supposed to be a secret! We reduced the upper bass boom a teeny-tiny bit (1/2 db). Other than that, it’s how John mixed it. So, according to this, the mastering has probably been completed and all that’s left is waiting for an actual announcement and, of course, the album’s real name. But don’t go jumping around, please; remember that it took a while for SCWP and AWII to see…

According to 24 časa, Večernje novosti and MTS Mondo, as well as some of our sources in local media and some fairies and elves, Red Hot Chili Peppers are definitely going to play in southeastern Europe for the first time in their 22-year-long career…and what’s even better, they’ll be playing here in Serbia! However, surprisingly, the venue will most likely be an open field close to the small town of InÄ‘ija, 40-ish km north-western from Belgrade [the capital/I-M.net headquarters :p]. Here’s the translation of the news published in all the mentioned media during the last couple of days, translated by yours truly. The greatest American rock band at the moment,…
