French singer Catherine Ringer, formerly of highly prolific rock band Les Rita Mitsuoko, released a solo album titled Ring ‘n Roll. RZA of Wu-Tang Clan produced her effort and he enlisted some of his regular collaborators to join him with his contributions; so John’s playing guitar on the track number 5, Prends-Moi (“Take Me”). According to most of the album reviews, his solo was remarkably good.
