The donut-themed singles by Free Moral Agents, Kill Me Tomorrow, Xiu Xiu, The Starlite Desperation and Cedric Bixler-Zavala were available by mail order only, throughout 2005; on the now-defunct Gold Standard Laboratories label, owned by Sonny Kay and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. Omar himself appears on the November 2005 single…with John! The songs were, as it was revealed much later, recorded in his room in 2003, along with five others, during one single night.

October 12th 2005 would actually be the day the track were released digitally, as the mail-out was random.

Digitally released in 2006.

Nowadays, these singles are being auctioned online for prices that are close to the one of the notorious Estrus EP. But have no fear, 0 and 0=2 have been re-released in 2010, on the full-lenght instrumental album, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez & John Frusciante
