Two more recent photographs of John done by BLUR PHOTO (whose portfolio is great) have been added to his Myspace album.
And, though I could as well say nothing about it and though it is probably not my concern, I would like to advise some people not to make such quick judgements based on two b & w photos. Some comments on the photos on Myspace yesterday were quite harsh and they sounded a bit like this, honestly. Being a person who's learned not to make quick judgements and who panickes too much, I figured out that such quick judgements might make people feel uncomfortable. So, think about it. There's a difference between being sensitive/concerned and being an agony aunt. I doubt any of you would like to read that you "don't look well these days" ...?! I know I wouldn't!

Agree with you Iva! And by the way, to me John looks like a person with depth, on his face the inside shows. And a pretty healthy inside, clear state of mind. But hey, everyone sees what they want to see, right?
Same here, i totaly agree with both Iva and asdfghjkl! And there are many artist, painters and musicians that have had and has that kind of look right now, (Iron and Wine for exampel and many more) the long hair and the beard, wich is SO COOL! I really digg that look!
I apologise to John if it sounded too harsh.
I just wanted to express my wish for John to feel good and strong.
(I don't wish that because I want him to make more music, but because of general love for every person and because I feel that he is a good soul and cares so much for the people that he should also receive lots of care and love)
Cant understand the uproar. john looks like shit on those pics. its quite possible that this was the actual intention of the photographer but if so, i dont think its very funny. i´ve seen him close to this before and i was hoping that this was the last time. i hate those pics but i still adore the song so i guess he is fine..
i mean come on, he should get himself a friggin haircut
my first reaction to the pics was a bit of a worry, i know we're not to judge
people but come on he does look thin and not well, but im sure he is fine and
is in good spirits cuz of the album which i cant wait to get it and listen.
course we are here for the love of his music but reason to look at his pics is to see how he is which obviously makes ppl want to comment about his
apperence.

I have to say I adore the new set of photos! The coloured pictures contain such a peaceful presence to them. Beautiful! The black and white photos are very striking I will admit but the emotion that is portrayed in them through John's expression, I cannot help but be enraptured by them!
These new photos further exemplify John's passion, depth and originality as an artist. Kudos to him; he is a true artist.
I don't understand these people, or you, if some of the people who have said such stupid things are reading me...
Deducing everything from pictures, and insulting an artist just because of the way he looks...
Do you even realize what you're doing ? Come on guys, Seriously, do you have a brain ?
I've seen another example of such stupidity, with someone who didn't believe that an artist was sincere and talented just because, in his own words, "He looked so beautiful... He couldn't be talented...".
This way of thinking just disgusts me !!! Moreover, what's the matter with those pics ?
All the photos are beautiful and artistic in my opinion. It's a shame that people made such a huge deal out of the first ones. If you truly are a fan of John and his music you should know well enough not to judge him from a photo for crying out loud. They shouldn't had removed that B&W photo of him from his Myspace page; I think it was one of the most sincere shots of him to date. However, the new ones are quite cool
To be honest, when I first saw these pics, I thought John looked like a total badass.
its amazing how ppl made a big deal about his first 2 fotos and to even make

it off from his myspace. but yes i do agree that its a sincere foto of him and
sould not be judged but his music. But deep inside all of you were thinking like
everyone else that his apperence was not we had expected and pressumed he
was on pot and might be going to that direction of doin drugs again.
I do find the sunset fotos more striking then the black and white ones.

I agree with Bill, doesn't look vibrant but empty...to be honest pictures are beautifull but more the techniques and lightning than the the soul of the pic's. At least that's my modest opinion.
