As the most of you probably know, The Empyrean was meant to be released both physically and digitally today; but as we have learnt last week, an inevitable manifacturing error pushed the release of non-preordered items forward to 27th January, which is next Tuesday.
However, the album has been released digitally today, it was announced on John's Myspace, too; and you can get it from all major music stores, such as iTunes and Amazon.com, where it's already at #48 in the digital downloads category, plus it's DRM-free and you can play it on multiple devices. To remind you, this page holds a large list of places to get all versions of the album. And, by any means, enjoy it!

I just bought the digital version of the Empyrean from iTunes today. I love it! The song 'Before The Beginning' very much reminds me of Funkadelic's 'Maggot Brain'
The Empyrean is a wonderful album and I'll be listening to it over and over again to get the true feelings behind the songs (I could listen to John's music for days on end anyway, so I don't mind!!).
