Welcome to the 9th edition of Saturday questions.
Last week, you were curating a dream festival. This week, we're making a supergroup. You can, of course, have as many members as you like in it, as long as each one of them actually has a purpose in the band.
So, who would be in the supergroup if you were one of the members or its manager?

There a so many constellations I would like to see, but the most interesting line up to me seems to be John playing with Radiohead!
Hmm...
Me, ofcourse - Don't know what instrument.
Guitar - John Frusciante (No, didn't think you'd know him...)
Drums - Phil Selway (He's from Radiohead)

I love your first band!
thanks im glad to know im not the only one with good taste
Oh man Eddie Vedder!
Great choices!
Still- i have to say i for some reason have major problems with matt bellamy- don't ask me why, its just something about the music :-S
I saw Muse live in 2007. Matt is a great guitarist and a good singer, the only thing he's missing is appeal. I don't know, I guess he's not charismatic. I was like "OK, you're really good...and?"
yeh I agree he is very talented but he does lack charisma. I think that appeals more to some people than it does to others. For example one of the reasons I like Matt so much is because of his quiet exterior and how his voice releases all his feelings in a very emotional way.If he wasn't such a shy(not the right word but I cant think of a better one)person then I wouldn't find his booming voice so effective.I can only speak for myself but I think that is why there are just as many people who enjoy the music as there are who don't.
I see what you're saying, its just seems tha somehow i just don't click too well with the music (though i do like some of the muse stuff)
I would probably enjoy talking to hm and playing with him (if i got the chance) but the music in itself is nothing that i would choos to listen too- though i still have a lot of respect for the man!
Just not the type of music you like really.Im the same with a lot of musicians i respect them but their music just doesent seem to click with my taste.Muse are like that with a lot of people because their sound is very strange.Im not sure how to describe it

Chris Cornell can sing his ass off...the guy has amazing pipes. John Frusciante and Jack White are both amazing players that so different it is amazing, and I honestly think that they could work together because they would work for the music, as they are both very into the music they create, as well as extremely improvisational. Krist Novoselic (the bassist for Nirvana, among other bands) is amazing...yes I like Flea, but Krist is the only guy that I have ever heard that makes basslines that are in the pocket (as in it supports the music totally without taking attention away from other things) and interesting melodically at the same time. I actually thought that both melodic and in the pocket playing could not be combined until I heard some of his work. And, well, Grohl on drums is just sort of self-explanatory. The only other person in history who could out-do Grohl's drumming is John Bonham, but unfortunately he is no longer with us
That's so true! Grohl was an option for the Led Zeppelin reunion, but eventually Jason Bohnam played drums.
