This is the Saturday question number twenty-four.
Imagine you ended up being trapped in a film, book, video game, TV series or a work of art (e.g. landscape painting). Depending on the circumstances you're in, the possible supernatural powers and violence the thing you're trapped in is known for; you might be in danger, you might, why not, be 2d instead of 3d. Either way, sounds like too weird to be real, but perfectly normal for a Saturday question.
So, where would you prefer to be trapped, given a chance that you can escape if it gets too dangerous? Why there and not somewhere else? What do you think you'd discover while being trapped there? You can pick more than one place.

No contest, Harry Potter!
Do I even need to explain? It's Hogwarts for heavens sake
I would say the Half-Life video game universe. Sure humanity is enslaved by aliens but think of the technology. We have the ability to imitate the gravitational force to pull something towards us with a simple machine. Plus, teleportation becomes a reality, now tell me that isn't cool. The alien force is kind of bad though...
Hahaha, nice question... Makes me think... If I must say it, I guess it will be a book by John Irvine... He's cool, and his books are great as well... Gotta go to Vienna!
This question for some reason reminded me of Pokemon and how as a wee lad i would dream of living there
Fear and loathing in las vegas. the book
haha that might be fun (:
In the first instance I would think of Last Samurai.
I would say some Tolkien book. The Middle-Earth is fantastic.
Yep, that'd be my choice too!
I would say on the DVD of Live at Slane Castle - right on stage next to John.
If that doesn't count it would have to be the film Shaun of the Dead, so I can put my 'Zombie Continuation Plan' into action. =]
Can I be trapped in a song lyric?
I would have to say Springfield, ??. Maybe hanging out at Moe's Tavern or eating a krustyburger with Homer and the fellas.
I'm with you! I'd totally love to be a Simpson.
The other idea would be being trapped in Jazz Jackrabbit as some new rabbit character or one of the hip hops (the birds who help Jazz), as they cannot be hurt. XD
I'd be trapped in willy wonkas factory if I could trade the oompa loompas for the girls in warpaint. btw, goin to see them tommorrow w Micah sykes in Portland. wonder if mr. Frusciante may tag along as well. could happen.
...hey silly-Willy, his name's mikah...with a K...and i totally doubt your dream will come true, either way....going too...but no hopes....really...
This will probably sound insane to some, but I would like to be in a kind of scene such as the remade Dawn of The Dead movie. I think that would be a very fun experience, and such an adrenaline rush. I would enjoy to a certain extent of course
Or be one of Ted's friends in the sitcom of How I Met Your Mother. I always loved their lifestyle
I would say the world of Rapture from Bioshock. Pre or post breakdown. The idea of a real life Galt's Gulch is far too much to pass up, even if it is in ruins.
i would be trapped in my own work of art that would be a world where i am everything i want to be... if that counts...
the tought part is figuring out what i want to be i guess... lol... but in my little world i guess i would know... and be totally ok with it...
but i second the guy who referenced the live at slane dvd... yeyaa
or inside a baby grand piano... bc then i could play all day and understand everything about the piano thus enabling me to play everything. lol. ;p
I would like to get trapped in Before The Beginning. Its such a beautiful story.Or I would like to get trapped in the movie Rocky Horror Picture show or inside David Bowies Labyrinth.
Cool question
Maybe I would prefer to be trapped in one of John´s song or in a book!!!
I'd love to be trapped in Doctor Who. Traveling through time and all across the universe would be great. I'd love to be able to travel all my life. Seeing dinosaurs, visiting aliens, traveling to distant worlds, watching the Earth be born and witnessing its death... There's just so many places and times that I'd love to see.
oooh then it would DEFINITELY be in the house of john frusciante!! haahahha he wouldn't get rid of me.....
And if he moves out, well, then it's not the house of john frusciante anymore so then I would be moved to his new house!
It feels really bad that I couldn't choose harrypotter because that's what I've wanted my whole life but John is more important to me.... I LOVED this question. It was easy
expect from the hp aspect. I know everything you can get out from the books there.....
1)I'd like to be in the same room when frusciante was making to record only water.
2)The world of the Mighty Boosh!
