Andrew of Stereokill.net recently interviewed a British band called Blackbud and asked them about John and Peppers' influence on their music. They were more than happy to recommend two albums we all love.

Stereokill: There’s a strong Red Hot Chili Peppers/John Frusciante influence in Blackbud’s sound. Does the band have a favourite Frusciante solo release?

SN: We listen to Shadows Collide With People on the bus a fair bit. To Record Only Water for Ten Days is another good one.

Andrew would also like to recommend the band to I-M.net readers, as even Jimmy Page is a fan of them. You can check the band out on their Myspace page.
