Sticky caps in the title? Six days with no updates? Well, it's quiet before the storm. Very quiet. All quiet on the western front and Remarque's no longer alive to see it. All quiet on the eastern front and no one's ever even written a book about it. All quiet on the north, all quiet on the south, so...I'd better shut my mouth and give you all a gift.
This amazing, yet somewhat simplistic wallpaper, was created by Invisible Movement's long term contributor, Leni, who's one of the rare people who have been by the site's side and by my side for almost five years now (and such people are my favourites, by the way). In his love for John's music, he creates vibrant art and he's, at the same time, always more than kind to share concerts by uploading them for his friends, even though his upload speed at home isn't the best ever. Oh, and he's a Pisces born in the week of loner...like, for example, the owner of this site AND the subject of this site. That means creativity and kidness.
The screen resolutions this wallpaper was indended for are 1900x1200 and 1600x1200. I have shrunk it to all other common sizes and the 1280x1024 version is slighty different than the others, I hope that is not a problem, given that many of you - and I - probably use that screen resolution.

What else? Jesse whom I got in touch through Twitter (Didn't add I-M.net there yet? Do it!) has created a blog and written an awesome review of The Empyrean. It's never too late, especially when something's written from the bottom of one's heart. Do read it and look out for more. He also reviewed The Mars Volta's Octahedron.
Also, Doug from Balarama Music has revived his blog and has written a long one about John and Red Hot Chili Peppers as well.
I liked this. What do you say, should Friday be the YOU day on Invisible Movement, the same way Sunday or Monday are usually the days for big updates and Saturday for tickling everyone's brain with the Saturday question? Please, do comment on this and remember how beautiful it is to be creative and kind, just like everyone mentioned and not mentioned but thought of here is. Love!
P.S. Did I mention the standard Sunday/Monday updates? I missed those and there's a lot of it that has gathered. So, expect then this Sunday.

His recovery process was brutal
What does Jesse mean here?
I meant that the dark era in his life all the way through finally kicking addiction was not easy on him at all. I'll definitely have to reword that, haha.
Nice job Jesse! Just a suggestion on the bio part though. Where you say, "never touching any form of drug again and meditating daily from that point forward", I would probably do away with the "never", "any" and "daily".
Because, while this may more or less be true (who really knows?!) they are just assumptions. Perhaps something more provisional, such as "rejecting/turning away from drug use in favour of regular meditation...would be less problematic. Just some ideas, but good work though!
Thanks so much! You're completely right about that part though- I'd made far too many assumptions, I changed it too, haha.
I honestly never expected that entry to be read by more than a couple people, maybe half a dozen max. Its so nice to hear people have enjoyed it!
Thank you thank you thank you for the wonderful words you said about me!
Nice job, Jesse!
Iva, I think the Friday idea would be really nice to those that contribute their hearts & soul to this. You are great although you won't throw flowers to yourself but I will. What better way than to be recognized by you on the site? Love it!
