New stuff on the site
Sorry for one more delayed update. One of the other sites on this server suddenly appeared to have 1.5 Gbytes of porn uploaded to it by an unknown person…so, I spent the week dealing with that and trying to find out what happened. It’s all OK now, so, here’s what’s new:
There’s a new downloadable video…you asked for the ARTE Performance 12 special from 2004, you got it! It was quite stressful to find someone who has a VCR (I never owned one myself) and enough knowledge to rip the file to the computer and so on…but it worked. Enjoy this wonderful footage of John’s performance with Michael Rother and, as usual, Josh Klinghoffer. There’s a live song and a short, yet very enjoyable interview.
[Speaking of Josh, he’s currently on tour with The Sparks, go visit his fansite for news and updates on that tour!]I’ve also put one of my downloadables from another site here, since I believe it could be interesting. So, check the set of RHCP brushes for Photoshop here…and don’t forget to tell me if you’re using them.
4 new wallpapers by two people, Simon (who already donated two wallpapers) and Brandy, have been donated to the site as well. On that ocassion, the fans’ wallpapers page has migrated to a new section: fanstuff. What’s fanstuff for? Well, it’s for you:) For your wallpapers, your artwork (fanart migrated to that section as well), your writings, your covers of John’s songs and there will be some other surprises there in future.
Also, a gentle reminder to fans to send their wallpapers in .jpg/.jpeg format.
As…well…almost always, there are some new icons and avatars for you to grab and use.
An error concerning some updates in audio>misc section has been fixed.
An error concerning random display of the CDs from the finder has been fixed as well.
P.S. If any of the gallery pages in the “magazine photos” subsection disappear within the next couple of days, it’s because I’m organising those pages by years from 1998 on. The sections with photos from earlier years will remain the way they are. Thanks for your patience 🙂
