RHCP nominated in 7 categories at the MTV VMA 2006
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been nominated in seven categories for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held on 31st August at the Radio City Music Hall In New York City, USA; at 8 PM/20:00 h local time (GMT -6). The nominations were announced yesterday at the Top Of The Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center. The band topped the list of nominees, together with Shakira, who was nominated seven times as well.
Dani California video, directed by Tony Kaye, was nominated in the following categories:
– Video Of The Year
– Best Group Video
– Best Rock Video
– Best Direction In A Video
– Best Art Direction In A Video
– Best Editing In A Video
– Best Cinematography In A Video
