Site updates

Site updates, 25th August 2008

This site update is like Sachertorte: in certain situations and circumstances, a bit too much. And while I’m 100% certain that it won’t make you fat, I would like to believe that it’ll make you, or at least some of you, hyper. Maybe because I’m lethargic by nature and I wish I were hyper. Enjoy!

Also: the competition voting is delayed a bit more, for unexpected reasons of financial nature. All the competitors will be emailed once it finally takes place, so there’s no need to worry. Technically, the voting can take place as well as announcing the winners; but I am currently not able to send out the prizes. I hope I shall be able to do so by this time next month. Sorry.

EDIT: The error with one of the pages’ names has been fixed (after three tries to figure out there was a typo). Thanks to whoever reported it. And thanks to whoever reported it for the 2nd time, too. I’m a total idiot sometimes, sorry.

  1. One XL set of magazine scans from 2002
  2. One of the sets of magazine scans from 2001 was updated
  3. The whole Live at Slane Castle DVD was screencapped
  4. One more set of screencaps from 2005
  5. Three pieces of traditional art, worth looking at!
  6. One live show from 2001 in mp3, with some extras

Magazine scans
Thanks to wonderful Gizem whose scans were better than the pages I had, and more complete, Invisible Movement magazine archive is now richer for one more Japanese article, from Rockin’ On, July 2002. It’s an XL set. Not XXL, though, there are still some things you guys are yet to see.

Oh yes, and the scans of March 2001 issue of Visions have also been updated. The existing images are now of better quality and the newer ones were previously missing, so now the experience is complete.

Please, consider helping out with some typing or translating articles from German, French and Japanese if you have some time. The list is, as always, at this URI and before you translate anything, tell me to take it off the list as it would be sad if a couple of people were doing the same thing at once.

Screencaps
After procrasinating for way too long, I went ahead and screencapped the whole Live at Slane Castle DVD and you can find some 1300+ screencaps at this URI. They were split by songs, as otherwise there would be too many of them, this way it is easier to navigate through them.

Screencaps of ReAct Now, 10th September 2005 have been uploaded as well. The quality is nothing compared to Slane, but it’s better than nothing.

Traditional art
There are a couple more pieces by Clémence and a truly stunning realistic pencil drawing by Jemma in the traditional art section of the fanart subgallery.

Live audio
Back in February 2001, as the part of promotional work for To Record Only Water For Ten Days, John went to Toronto and performed at a radio station, played a live show at the Horseshoe Tavern and appeared as one of the guests at MuchMusic for the Valentine’s day. And know what’s the good thing about it? You can download it all or listen it all on this page. Of course, remember to check Live: Solo section for more audio shows, added earlier.
