Before you can see the update…
…if the most of subpages suddenly look like a sight of a major earthquake, if random pages disappeared or if they were suddenly password-protected when you accessed them (e.g. discography page which is under maintenance); I apologise. I’m experimenting with something and once it is done, everything will look normal. And that will be soon. Until then, I’m doing all that’s in my power to make them accessible. It will all be fixed within a week…and not just that, you’ll see.
OK, now you can see the update.
- The most beautiful offstage photo from 1999, EVER
- Two sets of magazine scans from 2006
- An instrumental show with The Mars Volta from 2006, in FLAC and mp3
- Another article was typed out
- One new fan-made wallpaper
- Some unusual and colourful art by Tara
- Updates to some long-running pages
A really beautiful photo
The photo you can see here is not really something you see every day. I never even meant to ask its owner to have it on Invisible Movement, but he offered it himself. It was taken at the time of RHCP’s October 1999 show in Brazil, but it’s technically not a live photo. Either way, you should check the above link and see what it’s all about.
Two sets of magazine scans from 2006
La Mano, May 2006 (Argentina) – thanks to Leni
Crossbeat, May 2006 (Japan) – thanks to Tatiana
If anyone’s willing to provide translation for these two, that would be absolutely great.
Live with The Mars Volta, 25th September 2006
As the most of you remember, two years ago TMV were the opening band for RHCP during the first legs of the USA and Canada tour. Before the first out of two Toronto shows, Cedric Bixler-Zavala got sick; so John jumped in and improvised with the rest of the band who then played an instrumental-only show. Thanks to Dave Caley, there is a recording of this in good quality and he was so nice to let me distribute it. So, from this page, you can download these six instrumentals in either mp3 or FLAC, whatever suits your fancy.
Magazine articles
The fast-fingered lady known to the mere mortals as Naomi has helped Invisible Movement out once again and transcribed the article from Guitar, February 1991. Enjoy reading it!
Fans’ wallpapers
After a longish break, the fans’ wallpapers gallery now contains one more wallpaper made by David. More coming soon.
Fanart
Four digital and one traditional piece by an extraordinary talented lady named Tara have been uploaded. Take a closer look at them, as they hold many details and show some true, true talent. Brilliant.
Updates to some long-running pages
Him On Others page was updated with some of John’s older quotes. Soon, this page and its reflection aka Others On Him will be properly stuffed with quotes.
Tattoos page was changed a bit, to provide better descriptions of John’s tattoos.
