Downtime down to server upgrades. Don’t panic.
Well, guys, I slept all day on Wednesday after a tension-filled Tuesday when the whole world was obsessed with USA elections (congrats to Obama, btw…) and when we had a pretty hard magazine-ad-creating test at the academy I attend. Some people did text me that the site was down, but not even the smell of delicious supper and calls from my co-workers who needed help could wake me up; so I had no idea what was going on and I apologise.
However, when I woke up, there was an email from the nice support people working at the hosting company, saying that there’s a major server upgrade going on and that the clusters Invisible Movement resides at are more or less affected.
So, for geeks: The parts of the site will be on and off until sometime Friday night, but never completely down for more than ten minutes, all of this depending to the cluster they’re on; as this is cluster-based hosting.
For non-geeks: Stuff might not work all along until sometime Friday night.
Do not panic, things are fine. And November is usually a month when people are lonely. So, go out, hug someone, make them happy, make yourself happy and be less lonely.
