Site updates – 28th December 2008
This is the first half of the last content update in 2008, unless one of the five countries with the right to put veto on a decision in UN decides to delay the start of 2009 until its beginning in the Julian or Chinese calendar. So, yup, such probability comes down to 0,0044 %.
The second part of this massive update might come tomorrow. If you’ve ever been stuck in end-of-the-year reviews, you might know how it feels like.

Lyrics
Thanks to Leni, some of the unreleased songs that had no transcripts available on this website, were transcribed. Please, feel to throw in your suggestions if you don’t agree with these transcripts.
The songs are: Circles Of You, Elemental, Song For Toni, Unknown song from the Vpro 1994 interview and What It Tastes Like.
Discography
Some errors have been fixed on the Niandra and Other Songs pages; and links to the songs off The Empyrean have been added to the all songs list. Once more than four of them aren’t blank pages, that will probably make sense.
General info updates
After a bunch of people requested to see them, here’s the paintings’ page. There are three extras that have never been on the old official site (see the page for explanation on where they’re from).
Book scans
More scans from Me And My Friends have been added. Once again, the most of them aren’t of world’s greatest quality, but if you have not been convinced that the book is worth it yet, I think you will be once you’ve looked at them.
Off The Map screencaps
I’ve screencapped the whole Off The Map DVD while I was testing sound issues on this old can. There are more than 1100 stills, on some of them it’s visible when a pedal is being pressed, some others will be appealing to the members of the more beautiful gender, so…there’s a little bit for everyone. Enjoy and don’t forget to grab the DVD if you never saw it. I assume WB is going to remove it from YouTube, anyway.

I’ve (finally) dug out the famous July 1995 High Times article. Please, don’t let the views expressed in it effect your opinion if you do not think that way already. It’s probably not worth it.
Transcripts
Transcripts have been organised. Now they’re shown in descending order, with this year’s only transcript on top. Also, 90% of them have been correctly formatted and they’re mostly free of typos now. There are six more radio interviews that could use a transcript, as well as the massive 2004 Q & A posted on the site some time ago; so if anyone’s up for some transcribing, that would be just great.
Fritz Radio interview, aired on 18th February 2004 was transcribed and translated by talented multilingual Sabrina Samwald. It’s a very good one, so make sure you sit back and enjoy.
The 2004 Deutschlandfunk radio interview from 2004 was also re-transcribed by Sabrina Samwald. Now it’s much more understandable. Also, many thanks to Pia for the unselfish effort on the first, yet not-so-readable transcript and to Eleni who tried to make some sense of it.
Since Off The Map was screencapped, I also took some time to transcribe RHCP’s end of the tour interview which is an extra on that DVD. If you want to see some bitches (female dogs, not nasty women), hear of giant squirrels and ten clones of a particular band member, read it.
