  • Cover + New release date for Medieval Chamber

    Release of JF-produced Black Knights album has been pushed back to the 14th of January 2014, according to an exclusive news from the West Coast Sound blog on LA weekly; relying on information previously provided in the Billboard interview conducted this summer. But do not despair, we get to see the cover of Medieval Chamber, the said album.

    Though the Japanese booklet interview might have seemed like a rare occurrence, it appears that we're in four much more! John has been interviewed by Billboard as well and he's shared a story on how he quit Red Hots to pursue his interests for what appears to be the first time. So, what is the maestro up to right now? Making hip hop and planning to release more music, but not planning to tour it.

    Thanks to having some super-cool people on board, we now have a complete version of John's first interview since The Empyrean interviews and the one done for the Feeding Back book back in 2009. For the first time in four years, Hashim Barucha, contributor to a lot of Japanese music-related magazines, had a chance to ask John a couple of questions. Read and enjoy!

    Outsides was out in Japan yesterday and, just like it was the case for PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone last year, there are these beautiful store displays. Plus, an interview has been posted in a couple of places. Perhaps some kind soul would be able to translate it for us as this is the first John interview in four years!

    A couple of months ago, Invisible Movement gave you a heads-up on how you can buy yourself a print from Justin Borucki and help the victims of hurricane Sandy. This video where you can see a bunch of other outtakes and photos that made it to the magazines from the actual photoshot was created by Justin himself as a response to how many of you were interested in this particular print. There still are some copies left, so treat yourself, if that’s your kind of a thing. And remember: a portion of the of proceeds from the 8.5 x 11 print will benefit relief organizations serving the people and communities…
