Omar & John CD reissue available now
The news of the Omar Rodriguez-Lopez & John Frusciante reissue didn't make you a happy bunny because you don't own a record player? No problem. For the first time, it will be available on a regular CD (not an expensive Japanese one, that is) and it's already being shipped.

Ratiug acapella
The gorgeous acapella version of Ratiug is here. Sadly, it appears only on the Japanese edition of PBX, but that doesn't mean the rest of us should not be enjoying it; and/or eventually purchase that edition of the album. There's a whole choir of uh...Johns on this one and a badass rap by Kinetic 9.

PBX out in Japan…and this is how they do it!
As of today, 12th of September, PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone is out in Japan and...well, we love Japan. They even have a store display for it, accompanied by other JF albums to listen to and they're giving away stickers, too. That's how an artist is appreciate and that's some folks who appreciate good music. Origato!

Oopsie! On the eve of the Japanese release of PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone, two of the tracks, Ratiug and Guitar appear to have leaked online. As usual, while this website is encouraging you to buy the album and listen to it in its full quality, it would not be OK to keep you completely in the dark.

What an exciting month! Not only that PBX is out; but we're also getting a chance to enjoy another pressing of 2010's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and John Frusciante vinyl. Japanese retailer has posted 45-second previews of the tracks off PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone. We already learnt from Letur-Lefr samples that John's music nowadays is so dynamic that 45 seconds cannot tell you much about the next 45 seconds; however, they sure can tell something. Noiseland Industries, a Minneapolis-based boutique CD and vinyl LP manufacturer could not hide their excitement for having started production of the deluxe 180 g double vinyl of PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone...just like most of us here cannot hide our excitement for its arrival in September.
