Bob and the Monster
Bob And The Monster will be a documentary film about the singer Bob Forrest and his former band, Thelonious Monster. It’s currently being produced and its director is the award-winning Keirda Bahruth. John will be one of the people interviewed for the film and as soon as there’s some little trailer, it will be available on this website, thanks to ms. Bahruth’s kindness.

Currently sorting through and editing the many interviews with Bob over the years, as well as key interviews with Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Angelo Moore, Pete Weiss, Zander Schloss, Keith Morris and many many more, Keirda and her team at Shaker Films are currently seeking archival footage to bring the “non heavy metal” side of Los Angeles in the 80s and 90s alive. Photographs, film and video of the era, specifically Raji’s, Cathay de Grand, Club Lingerie, Al’s Bar, footage of Melrose, Hollywood Blvd, etc…..we’re looking for it all.
