Some nice news from other sites
If you’re not on the official site’s mailing list, then you probably don’t know this. Anyway…if you haven’t seen “The Past Recedes” video yet, it’s now available on myspace, at this URL. It should work if you have a fairly fast internet connection and if streaming was not disabled by your firewall. And 4th Dimension has one cool new video interview from the TROWFTD era. Members only, of course. Happy watching 😉

A know-how update
So, I am sorry for 15 days without updates. The server this site is hosted on has been acting weird and it’s giving me timeouts and telling me that I have no free disk space left, so uploading or editing something is now something that’s not so easy to do. So, the site will be moving very soon, maybe even sooner that expected, but you probably won’t notice that it changed the servers, so don’t worry:) One thing that I can promise you is that there will be more downloadables and bigger pics once the server move has been completed. The only things I can show you at the moment…

John’s birthday
John is 35 years old today:) And for the 17 out of those 35 years we’ve been blessed to hear wonderful music straight from his mind and heart. So, though he doesn’t visit the fansites, I wish him many many more happy birthdays and more successful and happy years. Keep on rockin’, because nobody does it better!:D

A completely graphic update
IMPORTANT If you have received *three* notifications instead of one, it’s because the calendar I am using is dumb and it sent notifications instead of just putting John’s birthday and the date for ATP festival on the list. I sincerelly apologise for this mistake. Yup. There are many things ready to be added to this website, but I have decided to split them in two groups: graphic and text. So, graphic was much easier to do and it will be done first. The talented artist Marina has yet again submitted one more of her wonderful drawings for the fanart section. This time it features her own vision of the John…

A promo video!
Yup, as it says above, there’s a promo video for “The Past Recedes” off the Curtains album. No joke, folks…and you should go here to get it. If you’re on broadband connection, you should be able to watch it properly. Enjoy:) I surely will. EDITED: If you cannot load the video to play on your computer (e.g. if you’re a dial up user like me), you can download it and play it offline. It’s very easy. Brian Wilson tribute
(By Dean Goodman for ABC news) LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Mike Love and the rest of the surviving Beach Boys stayed away, but luminaries such as Neil Young and Jeff Beck showed up in Hollywood on Friday as the music industry honored Brian Wilson at a black-tie bash. The troubled genius behind the fabled vocal group was feted as man of the year at the 15th annual MusiCares dinner, a Grammy-related event that raises money for musicians in need. While previous gatherings took place in glamorous hotel ballrooms, this year’s was held at the Hollywood Palladium, a run-down concert venue infamous for attracting drive-by shootings a few years back. The…

First February update
Well, hello to y’all. Just a small reminder that, if you didn’t get Curtains yet, you should. I don’t have the album myself since I cannot get it here but, from what I have heard, it’s amazing. Or, before you get it, you can go to Me And My Friends internet radio and give it a listen. Three new reviews of Curtains have been added to articles. A couple of typos in the bio were fixed. Sorry for the confusion. Now, the bigger updates..the gallery was updated with a bunch of new photos. Half of them are from Japanese music magazines and they were donated by Noriko, so I am…

4th January update (or was it 5th?)
So, yes, hello, it’s me (surprise, surprise). This is my site after all and as one wonderful woman named Ann, who encouraged me to start doing the updates again, said: I am not doing this for the sake of this or that person, I am doing this because I love and respect John and his music. Many fans are forgetting that this is all about music and some aspects of philosophy and not about some other things I would not feel comfortable mentioning here in public. Anyway, sorry to disappoint you, invisible-movement.net is here to stay! Thanks to everyone’s nice comments and even more thanks for those whose comments were…
