John interview from the Outsides’ Japanese edition booklet now available.
Thanks to having some super-cool people on board, we now have a complete version of John's first interview since The Empyrean interviews and the one done for the Feeding Back book back in 2009. For the first time in four years, Hashim Barucha, contributor to a lot of Japanese music-related magazines, had a chance to ask John a couple of questions. Read and enjoy!

Outsides out in Japan – interview and store displays
Outsides was out in Japan yesterday and, just like it was the case for PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone last year, there are these beautiful store displays. Plus, an interview has been posted in a couple of places. Perhaps some kind soul would be able to translate it for us as this is the first John interview in four years!

New John Frusciante EP, Outsides, out 27th August! Pre-order & free bonus track
John is releasing his new EP, Outsides, in a variety of formats on August 14th for Japan and August 27th for the rest of the world. Japanese folks got it all wrong this time, but bet they still got your attention. The bonus track, Sol, is available on pre-order as a fre download. Reminder + Video: Get a JF print and help hurricane Sandy victims
A couple of months ago, Invisible Movement gave you a heads-up on how you can buy yourself a print from Justin Borucki and help the victims of hurricane Sandy. This video where you can see a bunch of other outtakes and photos that made it to the magazines from the actual photoshot was created by Justin himself as a response to how many of you were interested in this particular print. There still are some copies left, so treat yourself, if that’s your kind of a thing. And remember: a portion of the of proceeds from the 8.5 x 11 print will benefit relief organizations serving the people and communities…

After a long wait, the partly crowd-funded documentary on Bob Forrest, featuring John and many others is getting its DVD release in USA. More information coming soon...until then, watch the clips posted exclusively on this website two years ago.

Vintage Guitar April 2013 magazine scans & article
After a longish wait, the scans of the Vintage Guitar article on John from this month's issue are online. This article is a good insight on his playing as a lead guitarist in a rock band, with some essential recommended listens and a quick overlook of his influences and gear most commonly used. So, it might benefit everybody who's new to John's work with RHCP.
