If you missed it, some weeks ago, there was an exclusive video preview of John’s interview, kindly provided to this website by Sneak Attack Media, the company that promotes this wonderful film around the world. Today, you’re getting a bunch of stills and, more importantly, a really good review! If you enjoy it all…

Dave Navarro on John’s departure from Red Hot Chili Peppers
In a fan Q and A session on his website, Dave Navarro who is, as we all know, a former Chili Pepper himself, responded to a question regarding John’s departure. 7. I was just wondering whats [sic] your whole opinion on John Frusciante leaving the Chili Peppers once again? Like a lot of the die hard fans I am sorry to see him go. John has been a source of magic for that band that hasn’t been there in any incarnation since Hillel. Still, I understand that as an artist there might be different places he wants to go creatively and I look forward to those efforts. I am also…

All Saints’ cover of Under The Bridge makes it to A-Z…as Z-list
In a countdown of cover songs from A-Z that was published on Friday on MusicRadar, the interesting thing came at the very end. All Saints’ infamous cover of Under The Bridge made it to the list as Z. What does that Z stand for? Z stands for Z-list.Here’s what Emma Davies of MusicRadar had to say about it and, based on common sense and general experience, I find that many of this website’s visitors will, frankly, agree with her: There’s no better way for a band to speedily raise their profile than by banging out a song which is already over-familiar to the masses. So… All Saints covering the Red…

Can’t Stop is the 2nd best music video ever according to German viewers
In the middle of all The Axe Factor hype, another voting took place. It was MTV.de’s Best Videos ever and two of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ videos were nominated – Give It Away (directed by Stephane Sendaoui) and Can’t Stop (directed by Mark Romanek). Can’t Stop did incredibly got and ended up second in the overall, behind Michael Jackson’s epic Thriller and in front of Green Day’s anti-war Wake Me Up When September Ends. Here’s the whole top five. You can see the rest of this list on the voting’s Facebook page. Michael Jackson – Thriller Red Hot Chili Peppers – Can’t Stop Green Day – Wake Me Up,…

Celebrating I-M.net’s 6th “nameday”…with two shows!
As explained last year, Invisible Movement is a Sagittarius and it was “born” on 24th November 2004. However, the domain was registered more than seven months before that, as a project of this size required careful preparation. So, I like to say that it was conceived on 13th April 2004, thus making 13th April its nameday. And since the C-holiday and E-holiday aren’t celebrated on this website as not all the people in the world are of the same religious background, that’s a good excuse to have additional made-up holidays. On this 13th of April, you’re in for two treats (embarrassing typo fixed), just like last year. They’re identical, yet…

John was voted the best guitarist of last 30 years in The Axe Factor!
One month ago, John was included in BBC Radio 6’s poll titled The Axe Factor, with the goal to determine who is the best guitarist of the last 30 years (1980-2010). 40 guitarists were considered for this title and amongst them, there were many of them from UK, which could have been one of the determining factors for picking the winner, given that the poll was mainly targeted at the UK citizens and that the most of the 6 Music’s favorites were from their homeland as well. The results of the poll were announced on the evening of 09th April in a special show presented by Steve Lamacq and the…

A round-up of updates related to two John & Omar albums
Here is a compilation of recent answers from the Sargent House management regarding the two upcoming albums that Omar Rodriguez Lopez will collaborate on with John. Please, have some decency and do not bother/abuse mrs. Pellow with identical questions (especially those in “Car broke, phone yes?” fashion), as these pretty much answer everything so far and the label has many more artists to take care of. And yes, some answers change over the time as they were, likely, not responded on the same day. The albums Omar recorded with John are going to be released separately or at the same time? I will give information when it’s ready. Some things…
