John at a MusicaRes event with Josh and Dave Gahan!
I was getting news on this before, but I didn’t know if I should put it online or not, as it seemed to be bogus, but…looks like it’s true. John will perform at a MusicaRes event tomorrow, at the Henry Fonda Theatre. On this page you will find a video clip where he’s rehearsing with Victor Indrizzo, Vincent Jones, Martyn LeNoble, Josh Klinghoffer and Dave Gahan. The “band” is apparently Gahan’s All Star Band. You will need QuickTime player to watch it. Here’s a sneak preview: Obviously, the actual event, although not listed on the MusicaRes site, is taking place later today.

DVD of John’s Performance at the ATP 2005
Those nice people over there at Red Hot Live have released a DVD of John’s performance at the All Tomorrow’s Parties in 2005. Want it? An answer from Record Collection Music staff:
To all of you who asked *me* a bunch of questions regarding shipping of AWII, the look of T-shirts and a bunch of other questions I, as a fellow fan, cannot answer; here are the answers from Rian from Record Collection Music, who was so kind to drop by Invisible-Movement.net and clear all the doubts. Q: Can the ordered items be shipped all over the world? A: International shipping should not be a problem at all. If anyone is having problems getting their items shipped to anywhere in the world, pls let me know. Q: How does the AWII T-shirt look like? Can I see it bigger? A: The t-shirt…

New Zealand 21st April
Do you remember what a sensation it was back in December in Vienna when RHCP played a show without both Give It Away and Under The Bridge, for the first time in 15 years? RHCP played yet another show without those two songs. At least us from the 07th December Vienna crew can say that we were the first, I guess. Here’s the setlist of the 21st April 2007 NZ show provided by our friends over there at…

News about AWII & mystery hopefully solved
According to an employee of Record Collection Music, the release of AWII was postponed (now to 29th May!) because they also wanted to offer a vinyl. Preorder of the album will be available on 18th April and there will be a special bundle with a limited edition T-shirt as well. I am guessing this means the mystery is solved!

RHCP on the third anual Hullabaloo
Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the third anual Hullabaloo. If you can’t remember what it was, look at the 2005 news archive: it’s an event organised by Silverlake Conservatory and John’s performance at the first edition of it never surfaced. More information can be found on the event’s page. Make sure you have a flash player installed on your computer and don’t pass out at the ticket price.
