Swahili Blonde’s album release party on 10th of July

Swahili Blonde album release party - the posterAccording to information on both 's and the label's Facebook page, Swahili Blonde will have the Man Meat album release party on the 10th of July at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. Other artists on the bill are We Are The World and Weave!

Tickets can be purchased on ticketweb.com and the price is 10 $ per person. If you're looking for people to hang out with, you can RSVP on the event's page.

Now for the disclaimer part: it is NOT clear if John, or anyone else for that matter, is a part of the line-up for this event, despite the live line-up posted on the project's Myspace page some months ago. There's nothing explained on the page and the band's lineup has now been redefined and it says only "Nicole and friends". By buying a ticket, you're accepting all the risks and you're responsible for your actions. Of course, if you're interested in the project either way or if you don't live that far away, please do not take this little digression as something offensive, as it is just a friendly note/warning for the majority, based on their interests and bias.

  1. Sue says:

Does anyone know if Nicole still a member of Weave! as well as Swahili Blonde? If so, sounds like a busy night for her! = )

    • Sue says:

^ sorry.. *is* still a member of..

      • Nicola Gaunt says:

No, she's not anymore. I've heard her referred to as a "former member" of WEAVE! numerous times. :) But I gather she'll be busy enough already, what with the huge party and all O.o

  2. ezionretaw says:

anyone ONLY going to go see john and not be exposed to new music should really just stay home. it's a small place and that space you take up could be taken up by someone who actually wants to be their for the music, not just to celebrity watch.
