Site updates

Site updates – 14th November 2010

Whoa. It’s been eons since the last classic site update. In fact, it took place on 17th March 2009 and there were many of them planned in the meantime, but it’s been a hectic time so…if you submitted anything to the site between 18th March 2009 and today, it’s either a part of this update or one of the next 3-4 ones. Please, have patience and don’t bug me unless your contribution doesn’t show up by the end of 2010 – in that case, it might have got lost. To those who are mad enough to resend emails every two days – stop it. Please.

For those who are new, basically, this is how it goes: stuff’s added to the site, there’s a short list and you click on the link for detailed info. And you have to click on Click here for details on this update in order to obtain those links. And what’s updated and how much of it has been added? Read on.

Given its volume – and because there’s too much of it – this particular update will focus mostly on magazine scans. The next updates will focus on other things – likely written material and it should come in two weeks’ time.

Remember, if you want to be notified of new contents as it gets online, in order not to wait for compilations such as this one, follow Invisible Movement on Twitter, become a fan of it on Facebook or follow the NEW tumblog. The last should feel like lemonade on a particularly warm day to those who can’t stand the seriousness of this website – imagine that, there are often the things you like: random pictures. Sadly, with what you don’t like: text and explanation when it was taken, who took it and what’s the story.

2009 live gallery is up!
Thanks to everyone who pointed out that they didn’t know where the photos taken at live events last year were. Now they have their own album. Technically, none of them are really “live” photos, but it’s better than nothing, right? So, do enjoy the following:
26th April 2009, Camber Sands – by Thomas Quaye
16th July 2009, Los Angeles – by Matthew Alexander
12th December 2009, Los Angeles – by Unknown, via Danny Lohner

Some more live photos from 2003
19th May 2003, East Rutherford – by Angelina Rose.
Some more of Angelina’s live photography coming soon, very very soon.

Your art update
Traditional pieces by Georgia Evans, Jakub Pawlowski, Christina Gouthro, Melina Rimola and Iliane Alt.

Digital pieces by Vidhya Nagarajan, Connor McHugh and Brittany. An apology to Brittany whose piece was originally added to the site in April 2009.

There’s more of this – some people have been asked to supply larger images and some things sent in 2009 have not been revised yet. But everything sent in this year should be there.

Revised links section
All the links leading to other websites have been re-checked and pruned where it was necessary. There are a couple of new ones, too; so make sure you check the whole links section. In future, the second and third category might be merged into one for rather obvious reasons, but if it’s done, you’ll be informed.

New links have been added, too.
