Go read!); John’s 10th solo album, is creating a big bang of its own around the world wide web streams of music. A couple of minutes ago, Empyrean tracklisting was posted on the RHCP.com. Before The Beginning Song To The Siren Unreachable God Dark/Light Heaven Enough Of Me Central One More Of Me After The Ending …alongside this message from the protagonist (protagonists?) of the story himself (themselves?). Downtime down to server upgrades. Don’t panic.
Well, guys, I slept all day on Wednesday after a tension-filled Tuesday when the whole world was obsessed with USA elections (congrats to Obama, btw…) and when we had a pretty hard magazine-ad-creating test at the academy I attend. Some people did text me that the site was down, but not even the smell of delicious supper and calls from my co-workers who needed help could wake me up; so I had no idea what was going on and I apologise. However, when I woke up, there was an email from the nice support people working at the hosting company, saying that there’s a major server upgrade going on and…

The Empyrean, NOT The Imperium – very important correction
and, I believe, the ring with clearest flame was that which lay least far from the pure spark because it shares most deeply that point’s truth. I can guess that this one will be a huge PITA for everyone who’s already put the news on their websites, but it’s just another proof that human ear or, in this particular case three pairs of ears, could be wrong. The two words are very much alike when pronounced, especially if one’s accent is specific or if one’s spoken words often aren’t that easy to understand. The correct spelling for the new album’s name is The Empyrean rather than The Imperium. Many thanks…

Invisible-Movement.net v.6.0: TenTwenty
So, the time has come, 09:09 on 09.09. Looking at how Invisible Movement started off four years ago before it was even public; I thought of four possible dates to launch the sixth version of the site. This day won the poll in my mind as the other three days – 29th November, 08th March and 12th October – are too far away from now and, at this pace, none of them meets one of the four ideas behind the site layout. So, yup, even though a part of me wanted to delay this launch for some other day, the new Invisible Movement layout is seeing the light of the…

Server migration / forum downtime / competition status
This is a maintenance news bit, but it contains information about the competition and some good news, so please, do read it. I assume many people were wondering where the forum went today/yesterday. Well…since many people complained about the infamous “IPS Error. Can’t connect to the database” message and the problem was simply not intending to hit the road and come back no more no more no more no mor-o; I contacted the tech support of the lovely hosting company and they recommended migrating both the site and forum databases to a faster-performing database server. The site transition lasted about ten minutes overall, so I assume the most of you…
