Site updates, 17th April 2006 – Fresh pics!
So…there are three sets of the TOTP performance photos already. And one of them will be updated when the rest of the pics are scanned, so keep your eye on it. Photos by Christine Patrick Photo by Laura-Marie Gray Have fun. I have contacted several other people who have pictures and videos from the 14th and 15th April shows, so there will be more stuff in the gallery and perhaps in the downloads section very very soon. To make things even sweeter, there’s a nice Tiny Dancer clip from seven years ago on the videos page. Enjoy.

A new downloadable: John (and Anthony) on XFM Radio UK, yesterday
John and Anthony were interviewed by the XFM radio in UK yesterday afternoon. The interview lasts about 10 minutes and there are about 3 or 4 solid statements by John. I found it online, some nice people ripped it and you can download it here. Enjoy!

Dani California breaks records
According to Billboard.com: The Chili Peppers’ No. 1 Modern Rock debut is only the second in the chart’s history, following R.E.M.’s “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?” in September 1994. It’s also the Chili Peppers’ ninth No. 1, a new record for the format. The quartet had previously been tied with Green Day and U2 for all-time Modern Rock chart toppers.

John has conjuctivitis; RHCP pulled out of tonight’s show
Red Hot Chili Peppers have withdrawn from today’s filming of the CDUSA show in Hollywood in the last minute, since John couldn’t play due to heavy conjuctivitis. “It was so last minute that the band turned up with all their gear and were starting to set it up when the news about John’s eye problems came through. Instead of performing the other three members stuck around for an interview,” an insider said. The webmaster and the I-M.net board members wish John to get well soon.

Danni California and new Record Collection Merchandise
This is the official cover for the new RHCP album, it was revealed yesterday, it resembles old arcade games and it’s pretty simple. No signs of who did it so far. Go here to see the new Stadium Arcadium trailer containing a short preview of Danni California. The official RHCP site, as you can see, also has a link to the DC ringtone; which is available solely for the fans over there in USA. And Record Collection has made more of the JF pink outline T-shirts and the same design in white…the old poster is available again, and there’s a new one as well, based on the outline T-shirt; available…

A controversial photo session with John, by Ross Halfin
This could be offensive, so, I am not going to put pictures here, just links. And I don’t think I’m allowed to put pictures, anyway. On 28th February, John had a photo session with famous British photographer Ross Halfin, who had already photographed him, with and without the rest of RHCP a couple of times during the past sixteen years. On 1st March Ross Halfin posted an update on his website, to let people know how the photo session went. I will put a collage of photos here (find the large versions on Mr. Halfin’s website), DO NOT CLICK if you’re very religious or easily offended!.

John’s 36 years old!
I bet you all knew this, but I thought I’d say this anyway. Sometime this day, our John turned or he’s yet to turn thirty-six. And he surely has a lot to be proud because he’s done so much for such a short period of time so…all the best and good luck.

A pic from the Dani California video shoot and song preview
(thanks to failurebound from OHG forums) According to Videostatic.com, this is a photo of RHCP at the set for their upcoming Dani California video, directed by Tony Kaye (in the middle). Can you guys spot John? I am guessing that the news posted on the same site earlier can express this: Red Hot Chili Peppers will return this spring with the double album Stadium Arcadium, their first release of new material in nearly four years. Commercial/feature film director Tony Kaye has been tapped to direct a clip for first single “Dani California,” which will nod to the history of rock ‘n’ roll from the early ’50s through the present day.…

Invisible-Movement.net was awarded the Celebrity Site Of The Day award for 14th February 2006….almost at the same time as it reached 150 000 visitors.
