Attention, attention…
Hello there, people:) Many people asked me how come that Invisible Movement, as one of the most-visited fansites, does not have its own message board. Well, my mom’n’dad, my friends Maria and Mira and a couple of others convinced me to create one. So, I see that some people have already joined, but I am inviting everyone else to join as well. The address is forums.invisible-movement.net and feel free to start posting:) It looks a wee bit empty right now, but it can become better with a bunch of nice people like you around. ^_^ The layout is pretty basic at the moment as well and the images are default…

A rumour and a recommendation
A rumour Here’s a question Dave Navarro responded to on his blog: Q: Do you think there’s ever a chance John Frusciante will join Camp Freddy onstage sometime? A: I literally spoke to him last week and asked if he would do one. He said he’d for sure do it. My hopes are for the October Vanity Fair show. [permalink] So, there goes the story that them two don’t like each other, it seems. This promises an interesting and probably unexpected collaboration. John’s name is still not on the list of people who have joined/will join Camp Freddy onstage, but having seen this, it will probably be there soon. Many…

John nominated for a LA Weekly music award
John has been nominated for this year’s LA Weekly Music awards, in the category best home 4-, 8-, OR 16-track recording, together with Petra Haden and Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti. As said on the website: The annual LA Weekly Music Awards is coming June 14th to the Henry Fonda Theater! Headlined by Los Angeles heroes X (who will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award), this year’s awards also feature gangster-robots-made-good 8-Bit, and some of the best DJs ever to spin vinyl in LA. Rock stars, hip-hop stars, radio DJs, and at least one or two bona fide Pop Giants will also be on hand to celebrate the stellar nominees for…

John and Flea to work with Perry Farrell
According to mtv.com, John and Flea will contribute on Perry Farrell’s new project, called Satellite Party, along with people such as Fergie from Black Eyed Peas, Peter DiStefano… Satellite Party, a rock-musical hybrid, will debut at Lollapalooza. The whole article from MTV follows bellow. When it comes to big ideas, Perry Farrell’s certainly had a few. Of course, there’s his much-lauded work fronting both Jane’s Addiction and Porno for Pyros, two bands for which he served as the creative force. And that whole Lollapalooza thing. For months now, Farrell’s been recording material he characterizes as a hybrid of electronic, rock, experimental house and hip-hop with guitarist Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme…

More ATP goodies for you!
Thanks to the wonderful, giving fans, there are now two small galleries of the ATP photos available here on the site. Go here to see photos taken by Alex Van Hamlin and here to see those taken by Hurley. Please, don’t use any of these unless the authors allowed you to. It’s not polite. And Alex was very very nice to send me a review of John’s performance. It’s beautifully written and it follows under the “more” link. Right, well i thought i might aswell say a few words about my experience seeing John at this years ATP Festival. After the late, dissapointing, but strangly packed event that was the…

Some bits off the ATP festival
So, as you guys already know, John played at the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival on Saturday 23rd April. Some lucky fans with enough money and abilities were there, the rest of us were anxiously waiting for any news, reviews or pics. The most of the people are travelling back home as the world is not a small place and those who live close to Camber Sands and who had already returned were nice enough to share some experiences:) For now, I can only show you one review and three pics, thanks to Michelle aka Moosha from the Ramparts forum. If you have anything else to contribute: video clips, photos, reviews…
