There are some photos of John from the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ secret show in London, 20 of them were taken by Jenny and two by Michelle Bevan. Please, do check them out, as they’re wonderful. Since it’s impossible to imagine a RHCP show without John singing at least one song on his own these days; he did sing one on Friday as well, a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s beautiful ballad For Emily – Wherever I May Find Her. You can now download the song at the audio page, as well as the intro jam to the show. The sound quality is not the best you’ve ever heard, so,…

Photos by Christine Patrick Photo by Laura-Marie Gray Have fun. • NME review of the secret London show

I am not responsible for the grammar/ortography mistakes in this one, it’s not my fault that people don’t know their own native language properly. Oh yes, and go to this site for photos. The review doesn’t really mention one certain gentleman this site is about and there aren’t really many photos of him (just one of him play and one of his guitar…honestly), but I thought I’d post it here anyway… Red Hot Chili Peppers premiered six tracks from their forthcoming album ‘Stadium Arcadium’ at a tiny show in London tonight (April 14). The band tore through a 90 minute set in front of an audience of just 300 lucky…

  • Jonathan Ross show last night and a callout…

For everyone who, like me and 80% of site visitors, doesn’t live in UK or doesn’t have BBC1 on satellite or cable, there’s a torrent on Red Hot Live And, a callout to people who went to the secret show in London yesterday: Please, send some news, vids, audio clips and photos! Many people will be thankful for that and you will be properly credited

  • A new downloadable: John (and Anthony) on XFM Radio UK, yesterday

John and Anthony were interviewed by the XFM radio in UK yesterday afternoon. The interview lasts about 10 minutes and there are about 3 or 4 solid statements by John. I found it online, some nice people ripped it and you can download it here. Enjoy!

  • John on the cover of the next Guitar World issue

Attention, ladies and gentlemen; John is on the cover of the next Guitar World issue. The article is titled Sinner! Saint! The Two Sides Of John Frusciante! and, apparently, that title was inspired by the recent photographs taken by Ross Halfin. Some of those photos are probably featured in the article as well. The magazine comes with a CD-Rom attached and that CD-Rom features an interview with John and his lesson on how to play Under The Bridge. This issue of Guitar World will be out on 9th May. For more information and to check the magazine’s availability where you live, go to the website and, to view the trailer…
