The album will contain five songs, just like the first one did. John is singing the lead vocals on 4 of those songs, Josh on one. This time Joe Lally is not singing lead vocals. This is the official cover for the new RHCP album, it was revealed yesterday, it resembles old arcade games and it’s pretty simple. No signs of who did it so far. • A controversial photo session with John, by Ross Halfin

This could be offensive, so, I am not going to put pictures here, just links. And I don’t think I’m allowed to put pictures, anyway. On 28th February, John had a photo session with famous British photographer Ross Halfin, who had already photographed him, with and without the rest of RHCP a couple of times during the past sixteen years. On 1st March Ross Halfin posted an update on his website, to let people know how the photo session went. I will put a collage of photos here (find the large versions on Mr. Halfin’s website), DO NOT CLICK if you’re very religious or easily offended!.

  • A bit of this, a bit of that…

The regular Sunday big update is slowly becoming the regular extremely-early-in-the-morning Monday update. But, well, it’s still there. There are two new fans’ covers of John’s songs. Bob covered For Air and Dan Littlefield covered The First Season. In the fanart section, there’s a fabulous painting done by Julie. Fans have obviously been very inspired these days, so I’m presenting you with an alternative-style poem by Rodrigo, made by combining titles of John’s songs. There’s a new gallery of pics from the 2005 ATP festival, by Dan. It contains solely one photo, but it’s damn worth it. Also, thanks to Rich who sent it to i-m.net on Dan’s behalf. So,…

  • John’s 36 years old!

I bet you all knew this, but I thought I’d say this anyway. Sometime this day, our John turned or he’s yet to turn thirty-six. And he surely has a lot to be proud because he’s done so much for such a short period of time so…all the best and good luck.

  • Steeplechaser listens to John when training…

(as posted by debsy on the Ramparts forum, taken from Runners’ World ) Olympians With Earbuds 5 elite athletes on the tunes that start them up by: Peter Gambaccini … ANTHONY FAMIGLIETTI (steeplechase) “John Frusciante, the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has a song called “Second Walk”. My favorite lines are ‘There’s no time at all, except how you move. Be who you are, do what you do, not win or lose.’ Basically, what we do as runners is race the clock every day. I listened to his CD every day at the Olympics. I’d listen to it a half hour to an hour before a race.”
