Exclusive news about the second Ataxia release
Georgiy from Russia, a contributor of i-m.net, was very lucky to have a longish chat with Josh Klinghoffer, prior to the Sparks’ concert in Moscow at the end of February and Josh revealed a couple of things to him, all regarding the upcoming second Ataxia album! The album will contain five songs, just like the first one did. John is singing the lead vocals on 4 of those songs, Josh on one. This time Joe Lally is not singing lead vocals. One more show in Barcelona…

RHCP confirmed for Lollapalooza
As it’s known, Lolapalooza is no longer a tour, but a three-day festival in Chicago, USA. This year, Perry Farrell decided to bring it to its old glory and he invited some big names over…among them Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Queens Of The Stone Age and Death Cab For Cutie. The festival will be held from 4th to 6th August and there will be more than 70 performers/bands; 130 acts on 8 stages in total. Here’s what Farrell said to MTV.com: “It’s a kick-ass lineup. Stadium Arcadium to have 28 tracks

Even more on Frusciante/Smith/Hughes collaboration
As read on GHPG.net… Glenn Hughes’ new album, “Music for the Divine”, is due in June. And, as we all know, it’s produced by Chad Smith and John is contributing on many tracks, and he also wrote a song especially for mr. Hughes. Songtitles set to appear on the album include “Oil and Water”, “Frail”, “Black Light”, “Stepping On” and “The Valiant Denial”. Also playing on the set is guitarist J.J. Marsh, who has appeared on Hughes’ last several solo releases.

Danni California and new Record Collection Merchandise
This is the official cover for the new RHCP album, it was revealed yesterday, it resembles old arcade games and it’s pretty simple. No signs of who did it so far. A controversial photo session with John, by Ross Halfin
This could be offensive, so, I am not going to put pictures here, just links. And I don’t think I’m allowed to put pictures, anyway. On 28th February, John had a photo session with famous British photographer Ross Halfin, who had already photographed him, with and without the rest of RHCP a couple of times during the past sixteen years. On 1st March Ross Halfin posted an update on his website, to let people know how the photo session went. The regular Sunday big update is slowly becoming the regular extremely-early-in-the-morning Monday update. But, well, it’s still there. There are two new fans’ covers of John’s songs. John’s 36 years old!
I bet you all knew this, but I thought I’d say this anyway. Sometime this day, our John turned or he’s yet to turn thirty-six. And he surely has a lot to be proud because he’s done so much for such a short period of time so…all the best and good luck.
