As per RHCP official site: 1) The band will perform at the Sazka Arena in Prague on June 14. Tickets for fanclub members will be on presale from March 11 and the general public will have a chance to get their hands on them from 15th March on. 2) The band will be doing a run of promo dates throughout April and May in the UK, Germany, France (Paris), Denmark, Italy and the US (L.A. and New York) and gold and silver fanclub members will be eligible to win free tickets for those shows. Japan show possible…
According to some rumours (thanks to Noriko for pointing this out!), it’s likely that the Japanese fans will also have a chance to catch John in action with RHCP this year. It’s possible that the band will play at the Fuji Rock Festival once again and, if so, the news should be confirmed within the next couple of weeks. For those who don’t speak Japanese, here‘s an alternate page to watch for news on this.

A huge update for the end of a short month

(thanks to failurebound from OHG forums) According to Videostatic.com, this is a photo of RHCP at the set for their upcoming Dani California video, directed by Tony Kaye (in the middle). Can you guys spot John? I am guessing that the news posted on the same site earlier can express this: Red Hot Chili Peppers will return this spring with the double album Stadium Arcadium, their first release of new material in nearly four years. RHCP have announced tour dates for Germany
The dates for the RHCP concerts in Germany have been announced on the official site. The band will play in Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle on 11th and 12th June and in Wuhlheide in Berlin on June 15th. Fanclub presale starts on 21st February and regular tickets will be available from February 25th on. Czech shows will be announced on 1st March and, there might not be any more European shows and most likely NO shows anywhere in south Europe, including Italy, one of band’s usual stops, unless something changes in the last possible moment. Don’t blame your promoters and the band, guys…it’s all the company’s decision, apparently.

RHCP’s concerts in Spain announced…
…yes, as seen on the official site. The Barcelona concert will be held on 30th May at Palau san Jordi, presale starts on 2nd March and the Madrid concert will be held on 2nd June at Palacio de Los Deportes, presale starts on 23rd February. In both of the cases, presales start at 9:00 central European time and presale tickets are available to RHCP fanclub members only. Have fun, Spaniards and Catalans!
