Even more on Frusciante/Hughes/Smith collaboration
According to a post on ghpg.net, Glenn Hughes will be entering Chad Smith’s home studio this month to begin recording his new solo album, together with John, Chad and JJ Marsh. As quoted, the former home of Hollywood movie star Cary Grant, it has wide expansive vaulted ceilings providing fantastic acoustics, which they plan on utilizing to the fullest. As noted earlier, John has written a song for the new record; and now it’s also said that he will most likely provide other contributions to the record. “While writing new music for this record, Chad and I thought it would be great to have John come in, write and play…

Some more rumours on Stadium Arcadium
According to the Q Magazine and NME, the new Red Hot Chili Peppers’ album, Stadium Arcadium will be different than the 2002’s By The Way, as it’s going to be much heavier and since all the band members contributed to it equaly this time. The new single from the upcoming album will be released early in 2006 and it’s going to be titled “Dani California”, refering to the very same “Dani the girl” from the 2002 worldwide-hit By The Way. …and more…
Another big pictures update, since I’ve been messing around with the unfinished dark corners of the gallery. So… – At last, screencaps from the Funky Monks DVD and the Greatest Hits DVD’s “roadwork” section are online. So, click here and here to see them – Screencaps from RHCP’s Under The Bridge video have also been revamped and they’re bigger and better now. They’re here and the screencaps from the other videos will be revamped as well, as the server space used to be pretty much limited and it’s not like that anymore, so why not enjoy them in their full size? – Two more small galleries of concert photos, one…

One of the last big site updates in 2005
Here it goes, another “classic” update. There haven’t been many of them recently and I apologise, I have a very important project at work due by the end of 2005 and two heavy university exams in January, which is also the month when all the Ortodox holidays are being celebrated, so I can’t work on this site as much as I would like to. Also, huge apologises to everyone who’s emailed me and all the people who were nice enough to sign the guestbook. I will respond to you and/or thank you as soon as I can, my mailbox is a mess. Articles section has been updated at last. And…

Rumours from the December ATP
According to some posters on the RHCP BBS who had the chance to speak to the memers of The Mars Volta during the last weekend’s Nightmare Before Christmas ATP festival….. Someone over at thecomatorium.com was speaking to Juan (TMV’s bassist) for a while at ATP and he told them that they’d already recorded the new album, and that our very own Mr Frusciante plays a very large role in it. Juan said “It’s as if he’s part of the band now.” Sounds interesting, another collaboration (though predicted anyway) to look forward too.

John was not at Omar’s show at all
John was NOT in London tonight. There was no information that he cancelled his appearance coming from anywhere, until someone who was about to attend a concert said that he’s not there. Apparently, everything was unexpectedly cancelled. I am sorry. I guess no one counted on this as possible outcome, unless the whole story was someone’s way of playing jokes on people.

An addition to the news from yesterday…
NEW YORK (Billboard) – Former Deep Purple singer/bassist Glenn Hughes is gearing up to record his next solo release, with the aid of Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante and drummer Chad Smith. The yet-to-be-titled release will be recorded in January and is on target for a May release. Hughes and Smith have been close friends for several years; Smith also co-produced Hughes’ 2005 album “Soul Mover” and will fill the same role on the new release. “(While) writing new music for this record, Chad and I thought it would be great to have John come in, write and play on a couple of the tunes,” Hughes said. “John…
