    Two days after the announcement of John's 11th full-length album, PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone, track listing has been revealed for the Japanese folks, through their distributers. The track previously announced as a free prequel to the album, Walls and Doors is listed as the bonus track, so is an an acapella version of one of the album's own songs.

    In an interview done early this month, prior to the announcement of John's new releases, his friend and the Minor Threat/Fugazi/The Evens frontman Ian MacKaye shared a couple of thoughts on the maestro's philosophy and called him a genius. He also said that he believes John is "pursuing something that has not yet been made" and "therefore cannot be described". Mysterious?

    Just like it was reported John is releasing Letur-Lefr EP in July and you can pre-order it, but that is not where it stops, as a full-length album named PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone is set to drop late in September; and we'll also get a free download of a song named Walls and Doors. The maestro plays all instruments and he engineered the albums by himself. As far as I-M.net is concerned, the world can end after this, if it wants to!

    As if the cup system wasn't irritating enough in various sport competitions, the editors and staff of Guitar World have come up with The Greatest Guitarist of All Time poll, based entirely on readers' input. The first round has been going on throughout May and in one of the last head-to-head polls, they put John against his friend and collaborator, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. Weird? Unfair? Both?

    Letur-Lefr, John’s new solo release, out 9th July!

    It's been a long time coming, but this wait was totally worth the while! John is going to release a new five-song EP titled Letur-Lefr this summer. He's also created artwork for it. The EP will be released in multiple formats, including cassette tapes. More information on this to follow soon, so...stay tuned and be happy!

    Reactions to RHCP in Hall of Fame

    The Red Hots are preparing a digital EP with covers they did of other Hall of Fame artists' songs. John is on most of them, as these recordings already existed as parts of various releases. In other news, his dad was approached and asked about Hall of Fame and he said he's proud of his son.
