Site updates – 28th November 2006, Audio downloads and misc.
Yup, another site maintenance post, sorry. Either way, all the downloadable audio files that used to be downloadable when the site was hosted with that other hosting company are back now, apart from the ones in the “solo” section and you can get them here. To remind you, there are three audio interviews (more to come very very soon), a couple of random files, the majority of the covers from RHCP shows John did in 2004, all of them but one from 2005 and as much as I found in 2006, ending with the 21st October show. Do not worry, there IS more of 2006, even as soon as this…

Invisible Movement’s 2nd Birthday
Well…it’s been 2 years since this website was online, as it became available to the public on 24th November 2004. It was online long before that, technically, but I had a lot tweaking to do before I actually wanted it to be online. At this very moment, I am not able to throw a real party for you, e.g. to surprise you with some new things, but it will happen very very soon. Configuration of the new server and restoring stuff in combination with my new job is slowing things down.

Snow (Hey Oh)
This was out while the site was down, so I thought I’d give you a heads up anyway. The new RHCP single, Snow (Hey Oh) is available for purchase. Here’s a link to part 1, featuring an awesome instrumental Permutation (yes, you guessed, it’s one of those amazing Californication intros) as the bonus track: click here. Here’s a link to part 2, with the bonus tracks I’ll Be Your Domino (a very funky Mother’s Milk-style song) and Funny Face (a surprising raggae-style song with a very cool guitar solo at the end): click here Here’s a bit of the review from Ultimate Guitar: One of the album’s catchiest tracks,” touted…

RHCP won two AMA awards
Red Hot Chili Peppers have won the favourite alternative artist and favourite pop/rock band at the American Music Awards last night. However, as they were not present due to the tour obligations in UK; Anthony, Flea and Chad thanked for the award via the video link. John was not there, he was apparently sleeping already; so there won’t be a video clip for this on I-M.net 😉 If you’re interested in how the whole show was like, here’s a review.

They cost less than what their joined face value is and the seller specified that the buyer should be in United Kingdom. So, if you’re interested in them, click the above link.

Site restore progress: remaining issues
The board is back! Hope the forum-addicts won’t stop commenting the news items here, though, as it surely was amusing;) I know that some people might be slightly annoyed about the audio, video, photo gallery, fan stuff and wallpapers not working yet. There’s an issue with the download counter as well as the thumbnail creation features for the gallery and I’m working on it, as much as it’s physically possible.

Some media from the LA show…
Click here to see two short clips of Higher Ground and a jam from the semi-secret RHCP show at the Roxy in Los Angeles yesterday, thanks to LAist. You will also notice one big change…unless you’re visually impaired;) Or…click the below link for an obvious explanation. Pics and I-M.net’s own media from this event hopefully coming soon! Disclaimer: I am not sure where this photo is from, I used it just a hint, so apologises to the author.
