  • Complete BSSM as an add-on for Rock Band and RockBand 2

    Harmonix revealed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ album Blood Sugar Sex Magik will release next week for Rock Band and Rock Band 2. The entirety of the 16-song bundle can be purchased for $20, while individual tracks can be purchased for $2. BSSM will release on Xbox Live Marketplace on Tuesday, September 30 and on PlayStation Network on Thursday, October 2. The album includes the hit singles Under the Bridge, Suck My Kiss, Breaking the Girl and If You Have to Ask. The song Give It Away is already present on the Rock Band 2 disc.     There is an interesting poll on USAtoday. It lists all the musicians and bands who are, from this moment on, eligible to be nominated for the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame; as well as some repeated nominees. Of course, knowing that they were founded twenty-five years ago, Red Hot Chili Peppers are on this list as well. Feel free to share your opinion, by clicking the white star under the band’s name.     Though sometime next month it’ll celebrate its 17th birthday, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ standard-and-taboo-breaking album BloodSugarSexMagik is still making headlines. According to Boston Herald. in their 50th anniversary vinyl pressing, Warner Bros will re-release this album amongst others and it should be available on becausesoundmatters.com.     As a part of their Loder Files series, which is used to remind people of old news interviews every Tuesday; MTV have today re-posted a classic interview with the Red Hots from 1999, where the band is talking about blood types, diets, other bands that they might have influenced and then, it turns into a long John monologue.
