One more RHCP show to be held in Milano
As expected by many, another RHCP show will be held in Milano, Italy, on 30th November 2006, day after the first one. The tickets are available already, there’s no presale. Go to ticketone.it for more information. Also, tickets for the upcoming show at the Copenhagen Forum, in Copenhagen, Denmark, should be released pretty soon as well. RHCP nominated in 7 categories at the MTV VMA 2006
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been nominated in seven categories for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held on 31st August at the Radio City Music Hall In New York City, USA; at 8 PM/20:00 h local time (GMT -6). The nominations were announced yesterday at the Top Of The Rock Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center. The band topped the list of nominees, together with Shakira, who was nominated seven times as well. John’s letter to Total Guitar, September 2006 issue
Unlike many other musicians and unlike many other people in general, our John always admits when he’s wrong. Billboard review of Tell Me Baby
As the unstoppable “Dani California” continues its run on rock radio, the Peppers unleash a sun-drenched, bass-heavy cut from “Stadium Arcadium.” Bringing back the funk, “Tell Me Baby” is driven by Flea’s bass-slapping salvos and gushes a catchy pop chorus over a crisp feel-good shuffle. It’s a classic funk-rocker, featuring one of Anthony Kiedis’ madcap raps (“Chitty, chitty baby/When your nose is in the nitty gritty/What a pity”). One more RHCP show to be held in Vienna
This was not announced on the official site, as there will be no presale…however, an additional RHCP tour date has been added, so they will play two shows in Vienna. The second one will be held on 7th December and you can get tickets for it here, here and here. Hurry up as the first one was sold out amazingly fast.
